Bottle thanks to Nikos! Pours inky black with a small brown head, good lacing. Aroma is huge peat, smoky, roasty, molasses, leather. Flavor is medium sweet, light bitter, quite prominent peat and smoke. Foolish body, creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good stuff but you had better like heated Scotch.

Przeleżakowane pół roku od daty ważności. Barwa ciemna, nieprzejrzyste. Piana minimalna beżowa, szybko ulatuje. W aromacie zdecydowanie torfowe (palone kable i świeży asfalt) plus delikatna gorzka czekolada. W smaku również torf wyczuwalny jednak tu już więcej gorzkiej czekolady. Alkohol dobrze schowany, nasycenie uleciało. Ciekawy eksperyment ale nie wiem czy drugi raz kupiłbym to piwo.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. BBE 25/03/2017 (so it is "old" but can’t find any problem with that because this one is pretty drinkable). Color is very dark brown with small brownish head. Aromas and flavors: Tar, dark chocolate, chocolate, some earthy peat, some distant hints of licorice and roasted malts. Soft, no signs of alcohol and very drinkable. Nice surprise, my kind of beer. Very nice tarry elements.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with late awakening, small to average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige to tan head. Intense, peaty aroma, hints of leather, widely disguised dark malty background with a cautious nuttily touch. Taste is dry, notes of peat, leather, minimally sweet, chocolately, dark malty background with a touch of caramel; full body, oily texture, smooth, soft, silky palate.

Tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Deep black pour, brownish big foam. Nose is aggressively peated...kind of scar bandage (-). Mouth is easier than expected, burnt malts but sweet a bit and easy. Very strange.

Bottle from Mesjasz. Many thanks! Dark brown/black colour, creamy foam. Smoky/peaty nose of smoked bacon, campfire. Taste is bitter, roasty with lots of roasted malts and some coffee. Well balanced. Very nice beer.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of smoke and peat, with notes of roast and malt. Bitter, roasty and smoky flavour with tarry and malty notes. Estery and smoky aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. A very decent smoked stout.

Bottle, 10.0%. Distinct peat aroma, some plastic, but not too bad. Black colour, seems hazy. Almost no head. Frothy and light brown, I guess. The flavour is peated like the aroma. Quite sweet, almost sugary, but balanced well against the peat. Very low carbonation. I usually do not like peat, but this one I like.
