Bottle shared at Mechazilla event. Pours a deep brown to black with purple tints. Almost no head. Very complex nose with coffee, plum, apricot, cacao, tiramisu, some earthiness and leather notes. Very drinkable but feels more like an imperial stout on the palate. As it warms more cacao comes out along with some light salt but the other flavors come in and out making this quite complex for the abv. Feels slightly light on the palate. Dangerously drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of (collab with) AleSmith Ny Verden on 04 May 2016 at 21:04 - Score: 8
