From the first day of the first mash of the first recipe in the first brewhouse in the first space to these coordinates on the cone of space-time; We have worked hard to walk in the footsteps of our hero brewers. Now we have found our own voice as brewers but our admiration for the Great Ones has not dimmed one bit. If we walked well down the hero’s path, perhaps we too have been an inspiration for others. Beer is a Bronze Age business and we feel honored to leave our footprints on it’s path into history- at the same time leaving our flavors on your buds. Obey those Buds! Thanks for your trust over the years and we hope you enjoy this specially brewed Hi-Gravity Auburn offering. Beer Speaks, People Mumble!

You can hardly go wrong with a Lagunitas offering. Purchased some time back at the closest craft beer venue, I lift the cap from the 22 oz bottle. Pouring into my New Belgium snifter it arrives a dark brownish red with a vigorous and I say vigorous light beige head. The nose, bread, toffee, maybe a hint of floral. A full drink now, hey, unexpectedly fine. Hops, cereal, sourdough and some nice caramel sweetness. Normally not an red ale fan but this could change my mind.

A reddish copper ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light vinous notes, treacle, resinous and piney hops, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with vinous notes, treacle, light butterscotch, alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Chicago brewery.

Draught, 8.8% at KØ17. Cardamon and fruit aroma. Clear brown colour. Good creamy off-white head. The flavour has a grassy hoppiness, creamy and sweetish. A bit earthy and dirty but tastes all right. Good warming alcohol in the finish.

Superficial festival rating at DØE - Ølfestival København 2017. Amber body with a moderate sized tan head. Aroma is malty with caramel, pine and fruity hops, some grapefruit. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, pine, grapefruit, good bitterness and some alcohol. Fine body and long lasting sweet and bitter aftertaste. Pretty solid stuff.

Big, gentle giant hoppy red, packing in the resinous IBUs while offsetting them with a hefty sweet malt core. Lagunitas orange marmalade hops on top of buttered toast, some caramel and pine underneath. Clingy with its bitterness, yet the citrus-tinged middle balances out the assault. Never feels quite as balanced as it should be, but drinkable nonetheless.
