A Unique Dry-Hopped Sweet Tart Sour Mash Ale. We soured the wort on the Hot Side with Lactobacillus for a few days and then brewed up this smooth and hoppy sour. It tastes like a big bowl of fruity candy or some chewable flavored vitamins, but what's the difference? It's sweet, tart, and sassy, just like the tasty cherry pie that your favorite aunt makes. For all the Aunt Sally's out there, You know who you are...

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy bright golden color with a huge foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tart with cactus, lemon, pepper and orange. The flavor was tart, sour and a bit funky with lemon, orange, yeast and a slight astringent presence. Long finish. Medium body. Decent

Draught @ Ballard. Light gold, light Brett, blueberry and gooseberry. Tart, brett, just a lot of berryish, maybe a bit sweet but I kind of like this balance.

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow. Aroma is fruity, yet rather soft. Body follows, light, citric, light sourness, crisp but low carbonation. Short dry palate. A good beer to refresh.

12 oz bottle. Aroma is bretty, musty basement, grapefruit peel, vanilla maybe. Pours slightly hazy golden with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly. Taste is dry and tart (6/10) with flavors of oak, lemon, citrus peel, apricot. Nice.

Bottle from Total Wine & More, St Petersburg. Mid-gold, hazy, almost no head. Freshly squeezed grapefruit, orange peel, funk, a hint of smoked meat. Sour funk to the taste but also honest citrus bittersweet waves of flavour. Long finish is bitter/sour and astringent. Oily body, low carbonation. A lovely sour.

Moderately sour with a strong, unexpected B.O. aftertaste. Yeasty as all hell but the hops firm up the back end, but just barely.
