The Black Corne has an ebony black color. It tastes like bitter chocolate, roasted coffee with a hint of acidity. A surprising beer that no one can resist!

33cl bottle into a Gordon’s badged thistle shaped glass at home on 8th April 2016. Very dark, black bodied with a tanned foam topping. Over roasted malts in the nose and taste with both dark chocolate and coffee flavours to the fore. Alcohol almost hidden by the good body depth and maltiness. Liked it.

Sampled draft @ Bierfestival Brugge 2016.Thank you for sharing people! Black with little tanned mocha. Nose is cold iron, herbal, bland mocha, oddly strangely a bit vinous. Taste is odd syrupy sour coffee grounds, weird lightly vegetable, herbal, bland sugar,..; Sour herbal chicory coffee body. I have no idea where the lightly sour / vinous streak comes from, seems really unintentional for me, that combined with vegetable, licroice & herbal notes. Not a fan, not a success for me, possibly a bad keg?

(Draught at Delirium Tap Bar, Brussels, 16 Oct 2015) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark fruit, chocolate, coffee, a touch of anise and wild berries. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, coffee, liquorice, dark fruit and a fairly dry finish with a balanced bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
