Aroma of wheat, citrus, lemon, passion fruit. Flavour is rather sour and acidic. The aroma could be a bit more complex, but the flavour is intense and rewarding. Enjoyable refreshing Berliner Weisse.

Pours clear, lightblonde. Contradicting the previous ratings, this bottle is dead flat. No head can be formed, at all. Smell is mild tart, very hidden passionfruit. taste is very dry, tart. Some passionfruit, but not overly much. Mild maltyness in the bacK. That's kinda it. Dead flat, but no real signs of oxidation or infection, so it can not have been the bottle, i suppose. Not very intense, but nothing bad either. Flavored, dry water ? ok.

Sample from bottle in front of ’Bierkoning’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016 pale yellow almost with no head. Aroma of some sours, salt, some fruits. Taste likewise, straw, grass, medium body.

THANKS for sharing RB people! Sampled draft @ outside De Bierkoning during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016! Very hazy citrus. Nose is mineral, acid, vinegar, lightly vegetable, some battery acid. Taste is oddly salty, battery acid, zest, vinegar, spoiled pickle juice, vinegar, glue. Acid & vinegar. Overly sour, harsh with glue & pickle juice notes etc. not really getting the passionfruit, not the best.

Sampled from tap in front of ’De Bierkoning’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Slightly hazy, straw yellow with a white head. Sourish-fruity aroma lemon, wheat and some rhubarb. Sourish-fruity taste of lemon, wheat and some gooseberry, followed by a short, rather tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Tap in front of de Bierkoning. Hazy straw with barely any head. Light pee, lemon, soft dough. Under medium sour and light salt. Light bodied. It’s interesting that I didn’t get passionfruit from this, but others said they did (from the same glass).

Bottle @ LIBF’16. Shared with the RB Belgian team. A l’opposé de l’excellent Beerbliotek a Passion for Gingers.
