Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’ during Carnivale Brettanomyces 2016. Dark reddish brown with an off-white head. Sourish-sweetish, quite fruity aroma of caramel, brown sugar, red grapes, some vinegar and oak. Sourish-fruity, a bit sweetish taste of caramel, brown sugar, red grapes, some vinegar and oak, followed by a medium long, quite tart, oaky and a little vinous finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really nice!

Draught @ Beer Temple. Dark brown color with an average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, brett, some hints of a Flemish red/brown. Meh, don’t like it. Not my thing.

Flaske fra polets nettbutikk, hjemme. Mørk brun med fint beige filmskum. Rødvinsaktig aroma og smak (røde bær, rødvin/rødvinseddik, eik, vanilje, og faktisk noe dessertsjokolade a la Anton Berg Madeira i blomme). En saftig, rund og forførerisk øl. Perfekt karbonert med deilig munnfølelse. Plutselig var glasset tomt, og det før jeg var ferdig med disse skribleriene.

Dark brown colored, medium creamy lasting tan head, nice lacing. Aroma is of tart dark fruit, bit nutty, some roasted and chocolate malt. Taste is medium sweet caramel malt, bit nutty, tart overripe fruit, winey and light barrel woody, chocolate, bit toasted, light+ sourness, .Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

301015. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, malt, alcohol. Flavour is alcohol, malt, hop, pine, spices, chocolate, dried fruits, caramel, oak. Full body. Very nice beer.
