Bottled. Amber copper pour. Malt forward. Caramel and some bitterness. I really look firward to this beer throughout the year.

Bottle aged in the fridge for two years to glass. Pours almost clear amber-orange with minimal ivory head. Nutty and caramel aroma. Both are a bit faint, but seems to have retained fairly well over two years. Flavor is rich bread and caramel, a faint peppery spice in the back. May have started to oxidize a bit, and that is my fault for holding it too long. Solid festbier.

355ml bottle into shaker glass. From Dan Murphy's, Armidale. Looks a treat, clear bronze colour with swirls of tiny bubbles and a thick foamy white head. A little lacing. Light aroma of apple and malt. Medium body, slight zing, fruity. Easy drinking. Lingering finish with some tin and malt. Increasing dryness encourages more drinking! Very nice but a little hollow (might be a little past its best date).

Draft pour at Meridian Pint. Poured a clear, nice looking orange color with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma was crisp malts, very light toasted character. Pleasant stuff. Crisp, easy to drink. Some earth, some hop. Decent stuff.

Side by side by side with two locally brewed Oktoberfest. This has a much more pronounced not back bone with a slightly more fruity hop with mild bitterness. Way more bold and balanced then the two locals. Real good.
