0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before September 2021. Clear, deep ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, a little fruity aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, dried fruits and a touch of wood. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter and minimally fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, dried fruits and a touch of wood, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly warming finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Pleasant Doppelbock, not too sweet and with subtle barrel flavours.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Dried fruit, and a hint of whisky in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with dried fruit, vanilla, caramel and a hint of whisky and oak. Vanilla. The oak aging gives depth to this beer.

Bottle. Color: Pretty dark ruby to copper, very thin beige head Aroma: Some caramel, malty, grainy, Whiskey. Taste: The malty and sugary sweetish caramel taste, like most Dutch Bockbier, is pressed to the background by the grainy and bit boozy Whiskey. Hints of nuts and bittery and fruity lemon peel. Pretty dense mouthfeel and spicy hints from the Rye. Long lasting bittery, grainy and boozy finish with warming mouthfeel.
