German inspired sour wheat beer. The sourness, which is quite obvious and dominant in this beer, is obtained by letting the unboiled wort go sour for several days. The end result is a refreshing beer where the sourness is the domineering flavour. This beer is only available once a year in very limited quantities on our anniversary day in September.

A low yellow-white head on an orange juice body. Nose is a sour fruit mash with some extra sweetness. A deep orange juice sourness dominates the taste. Some lemon and grapefruit with pulp and zest.

341ml bottle. Pours an opaque yellow-orange with a thin, fizzy, short lived, off-white head that fully dissipates. Sweet fruity aroma of grainy wheat malt, mango, yogurt, citrus and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of grainy wheat malt, mango, orange, peach, yogurt and floral hops in a dry, tart, slightly acidic finish. Medium body with a syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Juicy, refreshing and delicious.

Looks like a glass of mango juice with a thick and viscous appearance , and almost no head. Sweet fruity mango aroma with light mineral notes, light chalky notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice mango pulp with light acidity, light mineral notes, very nice and fruity. On tap at L'autre oeil.

4-pack from the brewery. Looks exactly like mango juice. The head fizzed a bit, but left quickly and no lacing in sight. Smells like mango juice with some sour notes and hints of hops giving a plasticy feel. The taste is like drinking mango juice, then the sourness kicks in and stays for a while. The wheat is felt all-around as well. A juicy beer that is not a Vermont IPA with less hops and well-hidden alcohol.

Bouteille 341ml. Couleur orange mangue opaque, mousse orangée fuyante. Arôme de mangue, cœur de palmier, acidité. Goût de mangue pas mûre, acidité moyenne-élevée, levure. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen-dense, un peu "râpeux".
