Bottle @ home shared by Countbeer. Opaque black color, medium sized brown head that diminishes quite quickly. Aroma is malts, vanilla strongly and chocolate. Taste malts, chocolate, vanilla, alcohol, lightly roasted malts, boozy bourbon, lightly peppers. Medium body, suitable carbonation. A little too much vanilla and booze for me to really make it top notch.

75cl bottle sample @ lucha libre night comes to LeRoeulx. Thanks Rich. Bottled 08/07/2014.

Shortbread, coconut cookie, bourbon aroma, in that order. Black, thin tan head. Chocolate chip ,coconut, oatmeal, raisin, cookies, coffee finish. Medium body, a little warm, easy carbonation. Very little bourbon character, which I’m really digging. A very special beer.

Bottle thanks to Bro Jackl split at the 5/7.5/10K tasteroonie, 30/12/14. Black with a well appointed dirty tan head that dissipates then retains. Nose is rich chocolate, spice, raisens, Xmas cake, rich malt, Nutella. Taste comprises more rich chocolate strokes, raisnes, tar, liqourice, cinammon, subtle bourbonics. Medium + body, fine carbonation, light earthy roast in the close. Solid impy, great balance, easy sipper.

5 Kay, 7.5 Kay, 10 Kay Tasting. Big thanks to Jack. Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Smooth and mild dark malts but rich in flavour. Lovely dark chocolate and coconut, so very Bounty Bar. A trace of paint ester. Smooth fruity bourbon. Little spice before a light finish. Spicy dark chocolate linger. Lovely.

Bottle shared at at foamers tasting - big thanks to Jack, the ultimate foamer. Pours rich black-brown with a creamy tan head. Great snout, with notes of cinnamon cookies, toast, cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with soft spice, balanced cinnamon, more cookies, good roast. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, cinnamon-laced chocolate, baking cocoa, moderate earthy bitterness, faint chili. Oh, I love it.
