Nice brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is dry boozy, whiskey, oak, minerals, bark, weeds, hay, burnt caramel, sour coffee, dark malts, coffee, cinnamon, raisins, hints of grassy chillies. Taste is slightly sour-ish dry, weeds, dark malts, minerals, oak, whiskey, grassy chillies, bark, cinnamon, caramel, raisins, grass, chocolate. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish dry mouthfeel, nice warming chili touch. Nice.

Bottle. Pours inky black with a small tan head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving some lacing. Aroma is fairly bourbon forward, cocoa, cinnamon, hints of chili peper, vanilla. Flavor is fairly sweet, medium bitter, woody bourbon, hint of astringency. Pretty hot. Fullish body.

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is big bourbon barrel notes smoke chocolate spice some pit fruit. Taste is more of the nice bourbon barrel notes vanilla chocolate spice very nice.

Bottle from trade with kermis. Thank you Chris! Black color with beige brown head. Roasted malty spicy aroma, mahleb, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma. Full silky creamy body with soft carbonation.

On tap @ What’s Brewing 15. Pours black, with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet bourbon barrels with vanilla and cocoa, as well as tobacco, muscovado, dark chocolate and lactose. Full, creamy silky smooth body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is burned malts, with bourbon barrels, cocoa, tobacco and dark fruits, as well as hot notes of chili. Lingering burned, bitter malts with noticeable chili in the finish.
