Aroma of citrus, fruits, yeast, light spices. Flavour is sweet-ish, fruity, a bit yeasty, slightly spicy. I definitely enjoyed this ’heavy’ Saison.

Braai Tapperij De Mug, Middelburg. Zoete barleywine smaak, sterk alcoholisch, zoet en weinig diepgang. Kan me niet zo plezieren vandag. Backlog from 2015/04/30.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 25 Feb 2015) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with peaches, apricots, grass and yeast. Fruity, malty taste with notes of canned peaches, citrus, toast, yeast, orange peel and a generous earthy bitterness. Almost full body, fairly sweet. Tasty and complex, but possibly a bit too sweet for a saison. Still quite nice.

Draught @ Bar Becoloth, Boxtel. Hazy yellow orange color, medium sized creamy white head that lasts for quite a while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is lightly malts, a hint of sweet fruits, orange, orangepeel, slightly some grapes. Taste lightly malts, some yeast, hints of different fruits like melon, grapes, applepeel, orangepeel, slightly a sweet touch. Finish is orangepeel bitter with a hint of honey in the background. Decent body, suitable carbonation. Yeah I quite like it, nice saison.

On tap at Drie Dorstige Herten. Slightly hazy copper colour, rocky off-white head. Aroma of light-spicy saison yeast, dry pale malts, hay, light peachy, nice bitter finish. Medium bodied. Nice.

At acbc Pours dark , unclear amber . Small white head . Smell is fruity ( peach ) Taste is bitter , sweet , some candy aspect . Bitter , hay aftertaste . Very intense , unique taste . I lke it

Tasting glass draft @ AC/CB. Dark hazy orange, little bubbly head (the guy in the charge was also very nice & wanted me to have more bear & less head). Nose is bit odd, overripe apricot, thick yeast, sugar, almond. Taste is very thick candy sugar sweet, thick yeast, almond, sugary, light syrup, lightly boozy, warming, dough, cake. Body is thick yeast, touch booze. A bit too Belgian not in the best way for me. A sweet stronger blond Belgian beer for me rather than a Saison. Okay.

Draught @ De Drie Dorstige Herten, Utrecht. Aroma has soapy citrus and apricot. Also some marmalade. Palate ia a bit too high on CO2. Flavour has strong apricot notes, alcohol and toffee candy. A bit too much alcohol here. On the other hand it warms nicely after the sip.

Tap tasted at UBF on 10/05/2014. The aroma is really intense with a lot of fruits. The taste is fruity too and a little spicy. Nice carbonation and a beautiful white head. Next one please!

@UBF14, donker oranje-amber met minimale witte kraag, aroma is redelijk zoetig, citrus. smaken zijn glad/zacht , zwak bittertje, hoppig, gras, zoetje, bittertje zit ook in de afdronk. ,maar zachter en voller dan bv de Alpha IPA die ik ervoor heb geproefd.
