Bottle, small head, clear deep gold with some lightish brown taints, bready vavila aroma, strong sweet bready flavour with a strong and coarse herbal bitterness thart do not complement one another. Not too terible but not too exciting either.

Tap in the John Bull pub, Cascais - 08/04/12. Clear straw blonde with many bubbles gushing up from the bottom of the glass forming a thin white head which soon thins. Sweet malt/grain and muted citrus on the nose. Grainy sweetness in the taste with a minimalist hop profile. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Eminently missable!

Holiday in the Algarve July 2012: surrounded by this stuff, available almost everywhere. I cooled with it on tap and chilled with it in bottled form. Great if you want the quench your thirst after a day in the sun but not a rich, tasty brew: its a lager that is light on flavours but looks fine and clean. It could have been any number of other European lager/pilsner beers, it didn’t stand out but it didn’t have too.

Thanks AirForceHops. White wine glass. Light golden appearance. 2 finger white head fades to nothing instantly. Well, it smells like a lager. :) A little sweet, a little bitter. It’s not bad. It’s actually pretty drinkable. Makes me want to BBQ. I should have had it at fridge temp and not room temp.

Bottle. Pours light yellow, with a finger thick head. Not very much aroma on this one, except a whiff of hay and a touch of spicy hops. Flavour is sour with lemon, some zesty hoppiness and notes of caramel trying to balance it all.

Bottle and draft. In Lajes, Azores Portugal. I thought MAYBE this would be a surprise. Well the word “Bock” in the title fooled me. Standard piss color, light white head in mug. Aromas was sweet musky malts with slight grassy hops. I can try to be nice about the taste but… It tasted like sweaty feet. Not pleasant at all.

33cl bottle. Dorée, col blanc épais. Arôme de grains, malt et houblons nobles avec léger profile herbacé et fleuri. En bouche, houblons amer avec un profile type pour ce style, sèche et pétillante sur note de grains. Pointe d’épice houblonnée finissant sur ce côté type métallique. Pointe de houblon fleuri, le tout restant dans la moyenne sans convaincre.
