Bouteille 330ml.

Bottle. Pale yellow with white small head, doughy aroma, slightly sour fruity taste, average carbonation, long finish. Nothing special to report

330ml bottle. Clear pale yellow gold colour, thin white head and aroma of grain, hay. Sweetish taste of malt, grain, grass with a light bitterness. Watery, light bodied, medium to high carbonation, standard pale lager for drinking cold.

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with negligible white head. Clear hoppy aroma. Barely any taste except for some light hoppy note and an agreeable paperlike finish. Would be nice on a beach in the middle of the summer. Perhaps.

Had this while in Old Town last weekend. Pale yellow color with a foamy white head. Aroma was grass notes, some light cereal grains. Flavor was clean, standard bland European pale lager.

30/11/12 - 33cl can @ home - BB: II/13 (2012-1314) Thanks to Thomas and Annelies for the can!
Clear light blond beer, big irregular creamy head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: little fruity, herbal, bit floral even. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: some citrus, little herbal, sour touch, overripe fruits, sweet grains, a bit off. Aftertaste: sugary, watery, hint of banana and a little bitter. More complex than most shitty lagers, but still shitty.

Thx. to Marta for this one. It is a pure country tick. 33 cl. can split into two - I could have gotten more cans but I opted to pass the opportunity. Pours a clear pale golden into a Stella glass which proves to be more than up to its task, the beer is crowned by big foamy head. The smell is frankly just bad, once you get past the smell this is not that bad and the taste is luckily more palatable but that is manly because it is much weaker. It was a mistake to drink this from a glass like nobility this should be drank straight from the can like a honest Portuguese struck down by the European crisis. It smells like a sewer, like a skunk just crawled into my glass and died there, like the smelly feet of a dozen obese middleweight women who had just to run for the first time in decades,... well maybe not that bad but it is hard to classify this as enjoyable. The taste is luckily more more mellow and watery than the smell. Plenty of watery, badly sweet and cheap grains in here with some nice skunk and grass, old citrus, rotting grains, old leaves in a pool bitter and cardboard. Yes it is cheap and somewhat manageable in certain circumstances like alcoholism, poverty or social occasions. Well from what was explained to me, there are about five breweries in the whole of Portugal and this ranks as the top tier beer - i would switch to Porto within the blink of an eye when it came to drinking for enjoyment and to Madeira for cheap, social drinking if I were there or that is at least what I like to think.

Another pale lager for the masses. This one looks god in the glass though, with ample foamy head. Decent maltiness in the taste, but still tastes weak and watery.
