Bottle. Medium head with short duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are sweet and roast malt, caramel, smoke and hops. Nicely balanced where the smoke just tops it off instead of being dominant.

Bottled. Dark brown color, medium off-white head. Aroma of smoked malt, roasted, meat, bacon. Malty taste, smoked, bit dry and bitter. It resembles a german styled smoked beer. Pretty straightforward.

Bottle, 2009-04-23, why smoky - this one is only smoke and no body and other flavors! (2007)

500 ml bottle from Systembolaget, thanks to Ole R. ABV is 5.9%. Black colour, big to moderate tan head. Intense aroma of smoked and roasted malts, notes of bonfires and tar. The flavour is also roasty and smoky, initially fairly dry, with just a slight sweetness and acceptable hops in the finish. Hints of liquorice. Ashy aftertaste.

330ml bottle, 5.9% abv. Thanks to Finn for buying and sharing. Off-white head with spotty lacing. Dark-brown body. Rather carefully smoked aroma. Roasted and dusty malts with a touch of spices attached to the flavour. Medium bodied. Nice enough, but perhaps a bit too cautious on the smoky part (Party on Midsummer Eve, Tromsø 23.06.2009)

Flaske 0,5l kjøpt påSystembolaget i Kiruna. Delt med Rune Sankthansaften 2009. Svart. Lav skumdannelse. Svak røyklukt i aromaen som forøvrig ligner en "normal" porter. Litt vassen smak men en helt grei porter med gjennomgående røykpreg.

50cl bottle. Thank you AndersAnd. Pours black with a small creamy brown head. Nose and taste is roasted malts. Medium and smooth palate. Mellow peat, bacon, coffee and vague chocolate. Oily and slick. Low carbonation. Ends dry with a vague hint of hops. Nice.

Bottle thanks to Omhper. Aroma of smoky malt, caramel, and a bit of chocolate and coffee. Also smoked salmon and wood. Rich, silky smooth body, with burnt, smoky, and hoppy bitterness balancing the rich malt sweetness. Long, burnt, woody aftertaste. Great.
