Marathon Session IPA.

In collaboration with NIKE (yes that NIKE), we’ve created a session IPA that honors all the athletes that partake in the NYC Marathon. A true reward for this incredible achievement – MILES is unique in that it is primarily late-hopped for ultra smoothness (thus the IBUs on this beer are 26.2, see what we did there?). It is also double dry-hopped, using a proprietary hop oil we created.

Can from Holiday Market. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Big dank, tropical fruit focused nose with pineapple, dried mango and resin aromas. Bone dry on the palate....a touch of hopburn still (canned on 10/22/2019). Some leafy hops on the finish with more dried fruit flavors and pine.

Draught @ City Hops (11/6/18) Juicy orange with very small frothy off-white head, orange-mango aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter orange-mango taste, somewhat thick body, long finish. A nice juicy NEIPA.

Beer Table To Go, NYC can: pours murky orange with a loose white head. Aroma is thicc tropical fruitiness. Taste is fruity, but has a pretty powerful spicy and powdery finish, which is not my favorite thing for NEIPAs to do. Still quite chuggable while maintaining good body.

Draught at Stoddard's, 4/27/18.
Heavily hazy-soupy, bright, lemon-yellow with a small, but fairly dense, white head showing moderately-strong retention.
The nose is full of bright, vivid fruit juice; tangerine, meyer lemon, light passion fruit and mango-lime. Clean, snappy and crisp, it embodies the best qualities of the NE IPA without any muddled, doughy yeast, piney resin or big yeast esters. Nectarine, cracker, very dainty honey from the malt and no alcohol, flaw or resin whatsoever. Very impressive they got this much aroma on such a small beer.
Bright, crisp, snappy and extremely flavorful with strong cracker-like malts keeping it dry. Juicy nectarine, lemon and a hint of pine, with no resin, scallion, vegetal character or much heavy citrus. Softness increases with warming and it's well attenuated with tight carbonation and no alcohol or flaw. Impressive, impressive stuff and immaculately well-brewed and executed.

16 oz. can. Willrunforbeer!!! Thanks! Aroma is bold, scallion, fresh cut grass, and pale grain. The flavor is massive scallion, onion and danky grass. For a 4.2ABV session the amount of flavor is insane! Well done!!
