Pretty hazy golden, light peach and soft orange coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall head that fades pretty quickly. Aroma of oranges, light curacao, a bunch of wheat and some softer, drier malts that show a bit of characteristics and depth, but the citrus fruit is strongest here, in the nose, at least. Light to Medium-bodied; Pretty assertive citrusey and grassy notes from the hops show at first with a pretty deep wheat and oat backbone that gives off some flavours, but most are relatively smooth, with a dry and grassy finish here and no real sugars at all. Aftertaste shows the deeper citrus fruits and the dry grassy, almost herbal notes, but both are pretty soft and give way to the even softer oats and wheat without much complexity or depth, especially at the end. Overall, a pretty straight forward, newer-school IPA that's hazy, yes, but also soft on malts and goes down very easily. Nice, but not superb. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park, 42nd Street), New York on 02-December-2022 for US$4,99 sampled on the streets of New York with my family at Christmastime on 03-December-2022.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours hazy gold with a nice white head. Aroma is light pine, light flowers, and some tropical fruit. Taste is moderately bitter, but nothing too crazy (it ain’t 2005 no more). Not very sweet. Slightly oily medium body. Lots of res. Nice contemporary IPA.
