Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was faint but tart and bitter with citrus, pine and tropical fruit. The flavor was dry an chalky with tropical fruit and perfume. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

12 oz. bottle. Appearance is a slightly cloudy golden orange color. Aroma is mild floral with traces of mild pine, subtle grain. The flavor is the same with the addition of weak citrus.

Mouthfeel is light. Bitterness is easy and doesn't kill your palate with abrasiveness. Overall, a classic, straight-forward IPA. A tad thin in the mouth. Dare I say watery?

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/16/2018. Pours slightly golden amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces t oa small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, lime, orange, apricot, peach, pear, red apple, mango, melon, mint, sage, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, lime, orange, apricot, peach, pear, red apple, mango, melon, mint, sage, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, lime, orange, apricot, peach, pear, red apple, mango, melon, mint, sage, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and fairly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this was a nice and interesting IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and pretty refreshing to drink with the mildly bitter/drying finish. This got better as it warmed, first nose hit on pour is pure weeds. More citrus and fruitiness came out later on. Very unique mix of dank, fruity, and earthy hops; with a nice solid pale malt backbone. This has Lemondrop, Cashmere, and Azacca hops; pretty weird and unique combo, but I enjoyed it in the end.

Fairly dull IPA. Bright hop notes, fruit, and pine. Medium malt. Medium to thin body. Finish has a little bitterness. Decent.

Draught @ Randolph Beer- DUMBO. Clear golden with very small frothy white head, very faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, mildly bitter with floral hops, smooth body, long medium bitter finish. Very flavorful IPA.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Mostly clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral notes. Tastes of citrus, floral notes, pine. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

5 week old bottle > tulip A: Poured crystal clear brassy pale gold with a very small fast falling white head. S: Light scent of citrus and grapefruit pith. Hints of Pineapple and caramel. T: Citrus and light tropical fruit flavors including maybe peach or melon. Pith, light pine and a woody or honeysuckle sweet malt note at the end. M: Light crisp texture with slight resin on an otherwise clean dry finish. O: Good tasting and not too strong or expensive. Seems to be a trend I can get behind. I like it.

Decent, a tad too easygoing but thankfully possessing a nice toasted malt backbone to keep it safely out of Session IPA territory. Orange, lemon, and toasty biscuits on the front, while a floral note and hints of pine dry out the back end. Finishes weak, lacking much of a hop bite, going out more like a clean lager than an IPA, but enjoyable in its own way. Pours a bright, clear gold with a thin white head and nice lacing. Floral, earthy nose isn't quite IPA-ish, but, then again, I'm not sure what it's like. Reminds me of Victory's Homegrown, I guess. In fact, that's kind of what this beer seems to be--an ale version of the Homegrown recipe. Which isn't all that bad of a pint, in the end.
