light copper pour medium head - bandaid/astringent aroma. Light malts and caramel, not well balanced, something just isn’t working right in this one.

12oz bottle from Wegman’s, Buffalo, NY. Golden amber with a tight cream head; sweet grapefruit taste; and crisp fruity finish. A passable APA.

My wife brought this one back from a trip to Rochester. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very overcarbonated orange-amber color with a huge foamy orange-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was faint grapefruit and lemon with a yeasty undertone. The flavor was dryish and bitter with light grapefruit and a touch of bread. The finish was long, dry, bitter and had lingering grapefruit. Way too carbonated with an otherwise medium body. Eh.

Tap @ the Brewery, Milford, NY. Served in taster glass. Also had in a 12 oz bottle from the brewery. Nose is a English Pale Ale. Light fruit and bready malt. Flavor is sweet caramel malt and some hop character, a bit grainy. Slightly thin body and drily astringent. Overall decent as long as you get it fresh. To me has more of a English Pale Ale Feel.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a slight gold hue with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of citrus and grapefruit with a backing sweet grain and biscuit. Flavor is a bit more thin and has a lot less hop profile with some sweet grains and a hint of grapefruit coming out in the finish.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours amber with a transient foamy off-white head. Light slightly roast caramel aroma. Near med body. Flavor is mostly light roast caramel, but it is astringent. Not all that bitter though. Just a light touch of fruity hop. Course astringent and bitter confuse me a little. Definitely dry finish. Other than the mouth shrinking there’s not a lot to write home about. Drinks well tho.
