NO Pumpkin IPA is a Fall Seasonal IPA that is flavored without the use of pumpkin, or spices. That's right NO PUMPKIN in the beer! We feel that this trend, and these particular flavors are gross in beer and many other pumpkin infused items you will be experiencing this fall. The real flavor from this IPA comes from the hops not some useless squash. There are fruity notes of blackeberry, boysenberry and grape. So enjoy your pumpkin spice, chai, mocha, latte this fall, but when you and your palette needs a break from pumpkin invasion grab a Sloop NO Pumpkin.

16oz can. Poured a mostly clear, bright orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was some floral notes, nice citrus. Flavor was smooth creamy vanilla citrus. Smooth.

Very hazy golden and straw coloured body with a thick, four to five centimetre tall pure white head that stays afloat for a long time and leaves a nice, but subtle lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of grass, citrus fruit, especially lemons with a sweet bite and some cleanser notes along with a very fresh malty and clean scent. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very crisp citrus scent with some enjoyable bitterness up front with a nice sweetness and some floral flavours as well, but the lemons and assertive citrus flavours are dominate in a good way. Aftertaste shows some soft sugars, a crisp and very floral grassiness with an easy-drinking maltiness which of course does not have any spices or squash noticeable, in a good way, as this is a clean IPA across the board. Overall, a nice and enjoyable, easy-drinking, but still full of flavour, a very nice option for the style and a good choice for the trip to New York! I sampled this sixteen ounce pint-sized can purchased from Wegman's in Woodbridge, Virginia on 02-November-2021 for US$1,99 (part of a mixed six-pack) sampled on the train to New York on 02-December-2021 with my family.

Canned 8/17/21, drunk 9/29/21. Moderately-to-heavily hazy, bright, fiery copper-maize with a medium-sized, well-retained, white head atop. Fruity, floral and spicy, without any bubble gum or resin, nor booze. Malts seem sparse, adding biscuit and cracker. Peach and papaya pick up as it warms and breathes. Soft and gently bitter, with a good maltiness and strong attenuation. Fuzzy hops have aged nicely and the balance is wonderful at this point, with no big yeast notes, and very strong dryness overall. Citrus is abundant but not dominant and there's spicy, green character with light pine (no resin). No booze, flaw or hop twang. Just a (relatively) lower gravity, well-executed, no frills NEIPA.

Can (8/17/20) pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. Appearance is pale, cloudy yellow with tons of sparkle at the edges of the glass, 3-finger width white rocky foam head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong grapefruit, citrus, berry and herb. Taste mirrors aroma exactly. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, strong aroma and flavor with nice complexity. Only significant drawback is that it's overly carbonated.

Lovely appearance, but the beer itself is almost savory, offering up loads of chive, mustard, garlic, and green pepper before settling into moderate veins of citrus and passionfruit. Finishes with a slight bitterness and lingering vegetal notes. Interesting, but not altogether pleasant.

Draught @ Blind Tiger. Cloudy pale yellow with creamy whitish head, citrus peel aroma, mildly bitter taste with grape-mango flavor, smooth body, long medium bitter finish. Good but not strikingly good.
