Pint at Federal Jacks or whatever, pours a clear amber, ring of white head. Nose has grist and malt and black tea, some orange. Flavor has orange then all malt and grist. Really not a pale ale at all. Finishes a bit flabby with some decent carbonation that helped pick it up.

Draught @ the source. Clear golden yellow with no head, very faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter taste with piney flavor, thin body, medium finish. Meh.

The appearance was a clear copper/gold body with a one finger white foamy head. It left minimal lacing and left no rings. Carbonation slowly rose.
The smell had some light caramel with some malts.
The taste was sweet through the malts and caramel. No hops was tasted even after the beer warmed a bit.
On the palate, it sat about a medium that had a good drinkability to it.
Overall, this was a good beer to me, but with the malts and caramel coming out so strong, I’m just wondering if this beer is more of an English Pale Ale.
