Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color; swiftly gliding off khaki head, no lace
Aroma: sweet coffee tones, bold roasty and toastiness, mild earthy tones, milk chocolate and caramel qualities
Flavor: sweet and roasty, mild bitterness underneath, light aftertaste of sweet coffee, milk chocolate and sweet earthiness
Texture: almost medium bodied but seemed to be just a touch under; beteeen being a sipper and some sessionability about it, smooth along my tongue; clean finish of coffee, chocolate and earthy tones.
Overall: very nice imperial coffee stout, very much one to return to.

16oz can pours a murky black, lots of lacey beige head. Nose is nice. Malt, molasses, coffee grounds, roasted nuts. Flavor is pecans and brown sugar and coffee. Light dried berry too. Medium bodied. Dry. Drinks easier than 9%.

Can (3/16/25) from Eddy's Beverage Inc., Saratoga Springs. Opaque, inky black with nice sparkle, ephemeral fizzy head, trace lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and caramel. Taste is strong coffee, chocolate, caramel. Smooth, silky texture, soft carbonation and dry, earthy finish as taste. No sign of alcohol. Nice coffee Stout!

Can at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, small brown colored head. Aroma is malts, coffee. Flavor is malts, coffee and light espresso. A little thinner than I had hoped but still pretty nice.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a softer, lighter-brown coloured head, just one to two centimetres tall in height. Aroma of pure roasted malt, light coffee, a bit of earth, some pitted fruits and a good deal of bitterness with the alcohol coming through towards the end. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich and roasty malt flavours dominate with a lot of sugars right behind, with the noticeable bitterness from the coffees, also showing some chocolate and grainy flavours toward the end. Aftertaste frames the coffee, chocolate and lactose nicely with a slightly creamy texture and flavour along with some more astringent alcohol and bitterness from the coffee. Overall, a nice and rich beer throughout with a bunch of coffee and chocolate elements showing some nuts, earth and pitted fruits that shows a good balance with a full-bodied profile, which hits great for the season. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park), New York on 06-December-2019 for US$4,99 sampled on the streets of New York, New York, a few hours later on 06-Decemer-2019.

Can shared in London - many thanks to Tippy. Pours clear brown with a light, creamy topping. Decent, a little earthy and roasty, certainly coffee notes, light tangy berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, some toasted brown bread. Fair.
