Rich caramel coloured body with a light brown glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pumpkins (duh), allspice, canella, cardamom and bunches of nutmeg - very nice, all with some pleasant malt alongside. Medium-bodied; Strong spice flavour at first that mellows out and shows a light caramelised sugar flavour with a nice hop flavour at the very end. Aftertaste shows a sweet and malty character with some pumpkin depth, but mainly spicey in a good way. Overall, a nice beer with a good amount of spices, yet easy to drink - not a bad option for the holiday! I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 19-June-2015 for US$2,25 sampled in my hotel room here a day later on the LES of New York on 20-June-2015.

Location: Draft at Morrison's, 10/15/14

Aroma: Clean aroma of vegetation, with some light spice/nutmeg, and a bit of a grassy hop
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear gold-orange color, with a light head and some decent lace
Flavor: This beer has a pretty clean malt bill, with some light spice, and a clean, light bitter finish
Palate: This one is light-medium bodied, with a soft carbonation, and a mildly dry finish
Overall Impression: Turned down the cinnamon-sugar rim, definitely the right choice. Everywhere on Long Island seems to be pouring their pumpkin beers in this manor. Weird. Anyway, this is a solid pumpkin brew. It is more of a vegetation beer than a sweet/spice beer. Definitely worth trying.
