Growler in Brooklyn. Pours amberish, transparent, standard oktoberfest stuff here with caramel etc. Good enough

12 oz. bottle from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear bronze color with an off-white head and good retention. Fair lacing. Lightly sweet caramel malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Pale malt flavor with some lightly sweet caramel notes in the finish. Good beer, but a little too much carbonation results in a slightly acidic finish. Medium-light body. Low bitterness.

12 ounce bottle. Bright, brassy gold color. Frothy beige head. Grainy, buttery malt aroma. Sweet toasted grain flavor. Light body and flavor. Light caramel notes. A pale interpretation of the Marzen style.

At the source: pours amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel malts. Taste is much the same. Caramel malts and light hops . Easy to drink. Basically what one wants in an Octoberfest.

Drought. Slightly hazy amber color with creamy beige head, very little doughy aroma hint of nutmeg, low carbonation, sweetish taste, abrupt finish. Nice but not remarkable for me.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a light, cloudy orange with a thin, white head. The aroma is sugar, wheat, caramel, resin, and vegetables. The flavor is very sweet, with a very faint bitterness in the finish. The palate is light to medium, crisp, effervescent, and a little sticky. Overall, this is a clean, refreshing and well made beer. Not bad.

although not the easiest style to rate very highly, usually mild in flavor and strength, not the most unique color or aroma, this is typical oktoberfest, a little buttery which is nice.
