American Pale Ale
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts imparts a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

355ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Airy, two-finger sized white head, blanketing the upper level of the glass. Cloudy, amber-gold body. Faint aroma of floral hops with a fruity punch. Fruity taste of peaches, pine, and oranges. Rounded fruit bitter finish. Clean and fresh. Session qualities (Tromsø, 15.03.2013).

Aroma is fruity with peaches, some soapy citrus and caramel. Flavour has peaches, some fruity hops, gooseberry bush, caramel and hints of hay. Becomes a bit sticky at the end. Good.

Pours a hazy golden yellow with mid-sized head. Strong yeast aroma, with some hops mixed in. Flavor is a very smooth combination of piney-hop bitterness and malt sweetness.

,Ettersmaken blir for kort. Alt i alt et nummer for kort i forhold til Single-wide med sin ekstra snert og raffinement.

355 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours hazy golden with a rather small frothy offwhite head that leaves some trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet and floral with with grapefruit juice, hyacinth, lemon zest, cereal, slightly dry grass, canned mandarin oranges and hints of caramel. Taste is sweet, bitter and floral with cereal, grapefruit juice, crackers, pine needles, orange zest, lemon zest, lime juice, slightly dry grass and hints of marmalade. Mouthfeel is tiny crisp, slightly round, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter, tiny dry and tiny fruity with crackers, grapefruit juice, pine needles, cereal, marmalade and hints of dried apricots. Descent...

Bra og robust pale ale, der man ikke har gått berserk i humlinga. Godt matøl.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - best by date unreadable because the importer had glued their sticker over it and the glue removed the print, from Alko Arkadia, 20121214) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, cardboard, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. An easy to drink beer but lacked edges I like and showed some signs of agedness.
