Sample from bottle, kindly donated by US BBF 2011 visitors. Orange color, cloudy. Toffee, lemon, grapefruit and oak in the aroma. Sour lemony flavor, limoncello. Amazingly complex beer, hard to get all the flavors and aromas.

Bottle shared at Brouwer's Cafe. The beer is a clear reddish-copper color with a medium ivory white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of tart fruit, oak, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart fruits, vinous oak, funky and peppery yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a lingering citric aftertaste. Very good beer all around.

Bottle shared at the Moeder Lambic cellar session 2015. Pours very hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of dusty funk, cobwebs, peppery notes and light tart fruits. Flavour is above light sweet and over moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lovely to try and certainly on of the best US sours I’ve tried at this time.

600th sour rating. Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with medium off white head. The aroma is funk, cherry skin, wood, brett. Thin mouth, lots of brett, nice funk, oak, tart cherry, stone fruit, low acidity, really enjoyed this one.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma has a nice, bright acidity at first but as it recedes you pick up some older notes and some light oxidation. A bit vinous with some light oak character. Light tropical fruit and stone fruit notes, but a slightly rotting fruit character. Pours a very clear, copper amber color with a medium sized, slightly off white head with never ending retention. Medium light lacing and small legs.Flavor is fairly acidic with some light vinegar notes and some medium light citrus. A medium light oak character with faint oak tannins. Some light oxidation with a hint of malt notes. Some cherry and dark berry notes with hints of stone and tropical fruit. Some moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, better than I thought it would be but it is also past its prime. Lots of fruit and more oak than I expected. Some light vinegar notes show through. A bit oxidized.

Draft pour at the Brouwers cafe 10th anniversary party. What a great way to celebrate! Pours a super fizzy orange color with a ton of head and lace. Fresh apricot and tangerine like aroma. Flavor is very much the same, which is fantastic. Has a lingering sour apricot flavor late in the palate. I don?t know. Anything I could say about this beer wouldn?t accurately describe how good it is. I started to wonder if my anticipation to try this beer finally may have swayed my judgement, and after about two seconds of thought, I decided no. Fantastic beer to say the least. Loved everything about it. I really hope I run into this again someday. Sum this up in one word: yes. Update: 750 mL bottle poured at Brouwers. Nothing has changed. This is the perfect beer. The only thing I can possibly change about this beer is that I enjoyed it even more. So I finally have it. The perfect beer. UPDATE: Retry month 2017. Draft 4 oz pour at Brouwers the day before Sour Fest. Weird! Just needed to confirm that this is still my favorite beer. Indeed it is! Hope this isn’t the last go.

750mL bottle at Bottleworks, pours a fairly clear copper golden with a small off-white head. Aroma is extremely complex, with loads of complex brett, maybe other wild yeast, oak, and more brett. Flavour reveals loads of brett all around, oak barrels, yeast, and more brett. No hint of oxidation at all - this has certainly stood the test of time. Quite balanced and mellow. Excellent stuff.

Bottle kindly shared by Dennis. Pours amber peach with white head. Nose/taste of sour peach, aged cheese, oak, cherries, wild yeast and ripe peaches. Medium body. Lots of peach still on the palate. Finishes mildly acidic.
