Nitro pour into an English pint. Mocha head with excellent retention recedes leaving faint sheets. Cocoa, coffee and nut aromas. Soft with roasted chocolate, sweet cold brew, toasted raisin brown bread and nuts front to back.

Pint on tap at The Tip Tap Room (3.8%). Gorgeous cascading nitro head, opaque black with creamy nitro head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is balanced bittersweet roast, coffee, cacao and lactose. Taste mirrors taste—chef’s kiss! Smooth, creamy texture, full bodied, finish as taste. How is this possible for 3.8%?! Magic. Wonderful. How could you have a better session porter?

Tab. Nitro pour. Blue Stone Pizza, Montpellier, VT. Nearly black. Barely a head. Nose has light roast malt. Hint of coffee grinds. Milky coffee. Some vinous notes. Taste is light sweet, with some roast malt and vine fruit bitterness. Light body. Fine carbonation. Light bitter finish.

Tap as Nitro. Pours black with small brown bubbles. Aroma and taste had lots of roasted malts, chocolate, tobacco, ashy, cold brew coffee, dark fruits.

Nonic pint showing dark brown with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows intense notes vanilla and coffee bean. The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Balanced flavors of coffee and cacao with hints of cream.
