Keg at Borefts Beer Festival, De Molen, Bodegraven Friday 25th September 2015 in the company of Ruth near the Kees and the Magic Rock bars. A little coffee on the nose, the oatiness does show, thick and full on in mouth, coffee also coming through, alcohol is remarkably restrained. Another great beer from Kees. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Clear dark brown beer, big creamy irregular beige to brown head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, dried fruits, caramel, bit sugary, mocha, soft roast. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: very fruity, some raspberries and cherries, cinnamon, sweet, dried fruits, caramel. Aftertaste: bit sugary, caramel, alcohol, cinnamon, coffee, lots of dark chocolate. A winner, Kees!
