Borefts VII. Day 1. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Sweetish mild coffee. Little creamy sweetness, Mild tangy fruits. Decent.

Sampled @ Borefts 2015. Opaque black color, medium sized light brown head that lasts for a long time. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, some roast, firm bitterness, some liquorice. Full body, medium carbonation. Quite nice.

Tap at Borefts ’15. Pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast, fudge, caramel and toffee. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with a soft texture and carbonation.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 1. Blackish dark brown, solid mocha head. Nose is caco puffs, cheap powdery mocha, chocolate, basic cheap coffee. Taste is roasted coffee, light syrup, touch herbal bitterness, creamy, light herbal quality, tad too much licorice, roast. Bit syrupy body. Nothing exceptional but rather satisfactory for sure.

Tap at Borefts. Black with creamy beige head. Chocolate, light brown sugar, chocolate cake, brown sugar, light sweet coffee with cream, porridge with syrup, rum aged raisins. Very sweet with light bitter finish. Full bodied with creamy feel. Very nice.

Keg at Borefts Beer Festival, De Molen, Bodegraven Friday 25th September 2015 in the company of Ruth near the Kees and the Magic Rock bars. A little coffee on the nose, the oatiness does show, thick and full on in mouth, coffee also coming through, alcohol is remarkably restrained. Another great beer from Kees. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
