Roasted coffee and cocoa flavours front this darkly coloured but medium bodied brew, but then come the fresh, green, Hop flavours of juniper, herbs, and light citrus undertones. With some soft fruit towards the finish and a slight hint of applewood, Netherworld will definitely capture your interest for more than a few pints.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to nonic glass.
Appearance: black in color with a two and a half eggshell white foamy head that took it's time to dissipate then leave some light lace
Aroma: black coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and a dose of citrusy to piney hops with a little bit of herbal tea at the back
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to bitter to bittersweet and roasty quality; finishes dark roasty to dry piney hopped
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, light smoothness but also some hop astringency
Overall: pretty good black IPA I'd be willing to come back to.

Bottle @ Hopaholic. Black coloured with thin, long lasting beige head. Coffee and cocoa dominate its aroma and taste, with some additional, slighter hoppy notes. Medium lasting finish, light body, soft carbonation. More like a stout than a black IPA imo.

On tap at C’est What.
dark pour with hues of red come through in the light. Aroma of spicy hops with a good dose of roasted malt. The flavor is spicy, and it mixes so well with the roasted malt, and smoke. Really an interesting, and flavorful brew!

Bottle. Almost black. Soft citrusfruit, ash and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweetish grassy citric flavor with lots of licorice and ash. Somewhat out of balance

Bottle at home. Pours black with a thick head which is slightly brown, medium retention. Aroma is hoppy, in a very herbal way. Earthy and spicy, conjuring up foresty aromas. Dark malts are nicely present too. Herbal and spicy notes dominate though. Some hints of coffee and chocolate. Medium body. Flavour builds up very nice, with a surprisingly long finish. Starts of malty and sweet, followed by rich caramel and chocolate flavours. Hops less prominent than in the nose IMO, but with a nice herbal-spicy kick and a good bitterness which I enjoy. Have to say this is really nicely balanced. The more I drink of this, the more I like it. Finishes rather dry, but with a really nice malty and very hoppy touch and some coffee. Really nice. I love black IPAs and this is a really good one.

Kicsi, de örökké tartó bézs hab, barnás árnyalatú fekete szín. Illata csokis, fűszeres. Csokis, fűszeres, enyhén gyógynövényes ízek. Közepesen testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Korrekt, könnyen iható, semmi extra.
