Aroma: Lemon, tangerine and a slight soapy aroma.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a thick white head. No visible carbonation. Lots of lacing.

Taste: Freshly cut grass, lemon and white grape. A bit sour. Simcoe tastes quite similar to the Citra hop. Mouth puckeringly dry and bitter.

Palate: Thin to medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Very soft carbonation.

Overall: Incredible flavour for such low ABV but perhaps a bit too sharp. Would like to try this on keg.

Cask@Euston Tap, London. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, grassy and caramelly. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, nectary and mild floral notes. Wellbalanced and quite nicely floral and nectary in the finish.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Golden coloured with a decent white head. Stoned fruit, sherbet and grapefruit aroma with plenty of floral hops. Flavour had some biscuit malts, plenty of citrus fruit and a dryish finish. Very enjoyable.

Bottle picked up from Westholme Stores, Goring on Thames, Oxon consumed at Leikeito campsite, Basque Country, Northern Spain, 26.06.11 Pours mid gold with a white head. This is a gorgeous fruity beer. The hops shine and whilst there is a touch of the soapiness about this at times although it doesn’t spoil matters for me. This is damn good, bitter and with a nice dry finish. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7
