Had this again on 24th Sep 2016 and thought it very Grapefruity and Lemony throughout, a lot more depth than the first time I had it: more Hops this time around. Hand-pulled half in Ye Old Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 17th May 2014. I assume this is a one hop brew? Pale golden body with a head head. Simcoe Hops, like Cascade are supposed to impart citrus notes into the aroma and taste, they didn’t use enough though! I found this fruity and bland. I’ve struggled with single hop brews before finding them one dimensional and uninteresting, this followed that pattern.

Cask at CBC, London on 14th October 2013. Amber with thin off white part-lacing foam ring. Hoppy aroma with cheesy yeasts. Bitter grassy hoppiness in-mouth, with grapefruit notes. A lasting, grassy bitter finish on lightly textured mouthfeel and light body. Deliciously crisp session ale.
