On tap at the Bulls Head, Burslem. A pale straw colour with a thin white head leaving lots of lacing and a fine carbonation; tropical fruit aroma; bitter grapefruit taste; and a clean crisp finish. A straightforward APA - a few years ago this would have seemed an exceptional beer, but now itโs just a good example of the improvement in British brewing.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Clear old gold body, thin white head. Nose has a muted light sweet citrus to it, a bit of grassiness. Taste is sweet up front, heavy bitter pine hit in the middle, with a long tangy citric finish. Bit thin, and fizzy, but one Iโd have again.

Draught @ Parcel Yard, 48B London Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, England LE2 0QB. [ As Titanic MAP (Mid Atlantic Pale) ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, citrus, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, fruity, sweet malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160222]

Cask at the Old Ship Inn, Hackney. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light malt hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp yeast hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Keg at the Malt Bar; clear amber pour with a thin white head, big pine fresh aroma, taste has pine forest, grapefruit, bitter, really impressed.

Keg at the Lyric, Soho. It pours clear pale gold with a decent white head. The nose is fresh lemon, grapefruit, light spice, gooseberry, sweet dough and candied peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, lemon, grapefruit, sherbet, straw, light pepper, dough and waxy rind with a dry finish. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Crisp, clean and rather drinkable. Well rounded.

Keg @ Crown & Kettle, Manchester. Amber-gold with a very thin head. Hopped with smallish orange notes in aroma and taste. Crisp and very easy drinking for it. Reminds me in taste of every keg ale โFriends of Hamโ in Leeds seem to get in.

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. The aroma has lota of pithy citrus, lemon, faint grapefruit, some biscuity pale malts. Light sweet flavor with some bitter straw, more citrus pith, some lemon rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish with more pithy citrus, lemon rind, mellow grapefruit, balancing pale malt sweetness. Solid sessioner.
