Four cask pints while in The Royal Oak, Higham Park, London on 19th Jan 2016. Deep golden body, smooth white head. Hops lead the way on this traditional British tasting ale, decent blend, nothing spectacular but pleasant enough.

Bottle from Drinkmonger. Hazy orange body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of grain, peach and cucumber. Flavour of pale malt, light hop notes of lemon and earth. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. A good showcase of British hops.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has notes of gooseberry and lemon. Taste is dry hoppy, tangy, slightly grassy, notes of lemon, lemon peel. Refreshing - nice summer beer.

Cask at the Greyfriars, Reading. Pale amber with a loose white head; lemony aroma; full bodied, with a tangerine citrus taste; and a dry, sweet grapefruit finish. Satisfying.
