Martens Witte is a classic Belgian White. Light-bodied and refreshing, with a subtle spice from coriander and orange peel.Yeasty and elegant with enough complexity to satisfy the most discerning Belgian drinker.

Can, small stable creamy head, cloudy quite pale orange color, aroma and flavor of wheat, orange and white fruit. Nice and simple, drinkable and well made.

Can at Beer & Beyond. As Martens Wheat. Nice cloudy yellow, white head. Orange peels, coriander, wheat, sweetish, spicy, faint bitterish hint. Pretty nice and refreshing.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is an ok wheat malt and lemon juice. Flavor is a big coriander bitter orange peel. This was a decent beer. The adjuncts really shine and this was refreshing as well.

Draught @ Rattle’N’Hum. Cloudy pale yellow with small white foamy head, faint citrus aroma, slightly sweet orange peel taste, low carbonation, abrupt finish with orange peel aftertaste. Nice but not impressive.

Thanks going to weihenweizen for this 16 oz. can. Pale yellow with thin lasting head retention. Aroma is wheat, orange peel, mild coriander.
The flavor is fresh citrus, oranges / lemons, light grain body. Light body with a nice crisp aftertaste. Not best in style but not bad either. I feel like it is middle of the road. But certainly easy enough to drink.

Location: Draft at Hop Devil, 8/30/14
Aroma: The nose is fairly light, with the requisite spice, yeast, wheat, and orange notes
Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a small head and some light lace
Flavor: Similar flavor profile, leans sweet, with some spice notes and a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light and a tinge or the thin/watery, with just an okay overall mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This is a fairly run-of-the mill Belgian White. It isn't a bad beer, just nothing super impressive either. As it was the $2 draft special of the night, I certainly feel like I got my money's worth.

So, this must be a pretty new beer, first entry only a year ago. From a 16 oz can. Straightforward witte aroma from the old country, not really bubble gum not really banana. Slightly cloudy beer on a somewhat vanilla looking color. Taste is initially friendly and mild. Good co2. Yes, well behaved and easy to take, has manners. Pretty civilized, goes down easy. As the session continues there is a very slight hint of processed uneasiness about it but perhaps that is my imagination. Yes, overall very good beer drinken experience. Liked it.

A solid if unspectacular wit. +++ Sampled from a 16.9 oz can this beer poured a cloudy pale yellow color with a huge fluffy-creamy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweetish coriander, perfume and lemon. The flavor was dry, dusty and a bit musty with notes of coriander, lemon and perfume. Medium length finish. Medium body. Decent.
