Keg @ The Bhurtpore Inn, Aston, Cheshire. Pours gold, lightly misty. No rhubarb or any fruity notes on the nose in favour of a malty lead. Light and watery on the palate, very minimal fruit presence, some salt with a disappointing sour presence. Not good at all.

Can from freshfields market, Croydon. It pours bright golden with minimal head. The aroma is toasty grain, tangy fruit, floral, wet hay, red apple and something salty. The taste is crisp, dry, lightly tart, minerality, salty, tangy fruit, dull rhubarb, limey, margarita, hay and straw with a dry, salty finish. Light - medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. I wish the rhubarb was more expressive, but it’s nice anyhow.

Keg at MK VHX, 28/06/18. Almost clear golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon tinged straw, grains, light wood must, faint banana chews, crackers. Taste comprises lime zest, straw, balsa wood, crackers, grains, damp hay. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering climax. Ok.
