22 ounce bottle. Bottled on 10/13/15. 11% ABV. Pours a deep cooper color with a large creamy beige head. Rich caramel malt nose has notes of citrus and pine hops. Flavor is sweet caramel with notes of tropical fruits, roasted butternut squash and bourbon. Notes of dark fruit and nuts in midtaste. Woody and buttery finish. Complex and rich with boozy, sweet malt, spicy and resiny hops and subtle chocolate liquor notes.

Fra flaske på Cardinal M2 sep-15: rødlig fargetoner med tett offwhite skum som varer. Vinøs aroma og smak i en velproposjonert kropp med overbevisende balanse. Røde bær, vanilje og mango for å nevne noe av smaksinntrykkene. Kompleks. Dæven, utbrøt Sigmund. Mild bitterhet og afterburn, men den varmer helt ned i lilletåa.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 28.09.15. Reddish brown. Small beige head. Vinous aroma and taste, with malt, mature berries, plums and wood. Complex, interesting and good. Moderate bitterness.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy light brown with of-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark dried fruits, raisins, medicine. Tastes sweet; however, after a short while a distinct bitterness unfolds.

650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 11%. Hazy reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of American hops, piney notes, also caramelized orange marmalade, some alcohol. Very hoppy flavour, medium sweet, caramel and alcohol. Bitter finish, hints of solvent.Warming mouthfeel. There’s plenty of hops in this one (surprise, surprise), but this is probably not where you go when you look for balance.

1pt 6 fl oz bottle from Brewdog online. Coppery amber colour, thin beige foam head and aroma of malt, orange marmalade, hop resins. Taste is sweet malty, caramel, toffee, raisins, booze, with grapefruit & pine and spicey bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry grassy boozy bitter finish. Aggressive, very drinkable

Pours dark amber with a small head.Nose shows sweet malt, spicy and resinous hops, caramel and sultanas.Flavours are equally spicy and herbal with heaps more malt following through afterwards alongside a bit of booze.
