330 ml bottle, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 2.5%. Very pale straw colour, huge white head. Aroma of lactic acid, lemons and vanilla. Thin and citric mouthfeel. Sour flavour of lactic acid, lemons and vanilla, not very harmonious. Waste of money.

Bottle from Gulating. Slightly unclear pale golden body with lively carbonation and a bog white head which disappears almost immediately. Aroma is classic lactic acidic with some kind of slightly unpleasant that I can’t really put my finger on. Almost like mild rotten vegetables but not quite that. Flavor is refreshing acidic, mild fruity with the same undefined unpleasant element. Medium body with a slightly sweet fruity, mostly dry lactic aftertaste. Quite plain and not undrinkable despite the off flavor. I appreciate the idea behind making a low alcohol Berliner Weisse, and frankly that's what it was supposed to be, it’s just this off flavor that went wrong. It might have something to do with the age of this beer, but I guess hat most likely is due to the process behind the vanilla, at least I have big problems to detect any vanilla flavor here. Better luck next time.

(Bottle, from Bottl3.5hop, Stockholm) Hazy pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of white bread, dough, citrus, vanilla and a lactic acidity. Fruity, tart taste with citrus, lemonade, white bread, grass, vanilla and a dry and lactic finish. Light body, dry. Works fairly well, with a fresh acidity and a gentle vanilla character. Quite enjoyable.

Bottled, from ICA Kvantum Liljeholmen, Stockholm. Hazy golden, huge lively head. Lactic citric nose with some vanilla. Tart with light body and clean mouthfeel. Dominated by lactic acid. Mild lemon and vanilla. No bitterness. Sounded like a train wreck concept, but they pull it off.

Bottle. More or clear in the glass, with a two-finger white head. The aroma is lightly lemony acidic, with some pale malts, wort and a faint vanilla touch. There’s more vanilla in the flavor, still not much, which I think is a good thing. Lemon, some pale wort, wheat and a funky touch in the flavor. It’s medium bodied, dry and tart, with a nice carbonation level. Long, lemony, tart finish. Easy drinkable, rather ordinary. 170516
