(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Kitty’s, 20120804) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had hops, grapefruit and malts. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were hops, more hops, soap, malts, white bread and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. The hoppiness was clean but a little bit too extreme.

Draught at The Rover, Göteborg, on July 26, 2012Clear copper color, nice fluffy dense tan head. A bit strange undefined, malty, herbal, spicy scent. Spicy, insanely bitter at first, inside of dandelion stem, reminds me of Micke’s horrible French "Souz" drink from 2003, mahogany furniture polish, taste, no thank you! Medium mouthfeel, very high weird bitterness.Despite trying to share this over 4 persons we ended up leaving more than half the glass to be poured out, bad experimenting on this one, had I brewed it I don’t think I would have sold it with my name on it, bad bad taste on this one. Actually surprised The Rover still sells it, at my pub I think I would have disconnected it, or at least served it with a warning.

Bottle shared my Marcus. Strongly fruity nose. Marvelous. Med body. There’s a roast malt that’s overwhelmed by bitter - pitted fruit/citrus/floral - maybe even resin. Finishes quite bitter.

33cl from Dranken Geers, BB 12/12/2013. Orangée, col crémeux beige. Arôme est houblonné, fruité sur fin amertume, pointe de levure avec un malt en retrait. En bouche, le tout fait l’effet d’une bombe houblonnée, palais st sec notes de grains, le houblon est quasi partout et prend le dessus donnant l’impression de boire du jus de pamplemousse. Légère, mais le tout est noyé dans une mer de houblon. Le reste présente un malt léger pâle discret.

33cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Lightly hazy orange color, medium sized off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell malts, hops, grassy. Taste some hops but mainly incredibly bitter!! The bitterness lingers for so long, I like it but I can understand people might think this is way over the top. Medium carbo, low to medium body.

Bottle @ benzai. Hazy orange colour with some ruby glow, decent white head. Smells hoppy, grapefruit, slightly soapy. Tastes very bitter, anti-nailbiting nailpolish, slightly fruity and hoppy. Very, very bitter. Medium body, great carbo, long lasting bitter aftertaste.

Bottle: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of earthy and piney hops with distinctive bitter notes. Taste is a mix between some piney hops with distinctive earthy notes and light dry caramel malt. Body is about average with good carbonation. Quite bitter and hoppy as advertised.

33cl bottle from Kihoskh. Pours slightly hazy dark orange with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit, tropical fruits, pine and malt. Bitter as promised and the citrusy and bitter aftertaste seems to last forever. Quite drinkable though, but certainly not a session beer... Nice APA, refreshing and bitter!

Bottle at Mosebacke Ă–lkiosk. Pours amber with a yellowish head. Plain insanely bitter, fresh after taste but 1/3 of a bottle is more than enough. I rememberd the origginal 1000 IBU as drinkable, this is the opposite. But yet fun!
