Bottle. Dark orange with a medium white head. This was a "interesting" beer. A lot of citrus and grape both in the aroma and taste. Very, very bitter, yes really bitter! Dry with a lot of hops. Drinkable but extreme.....

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange-amber with a large off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is quite nice, strong strong hops, with flowers, citrus and pine. Taste is citrus, pine, very bitter start to finish, bitterness gets stronger in far finish, but fades a little as you drink more and more. Fairly full-bodied.This is interesting, but just too bitter for a higher score.

Bottle from De Molen shared with Kermis. White head. Clear amber pour. Extreem bitterness. Intersting to to try. Not sure I’d drink a 2nd one.

Bottle from De Molen. Amber pour with a white head. Aroma of bitter grapefruit and grass. Flavour is through-the-roof bitter, way too much with no sweetness to balance. Grapefruit, slight tropical fruit, nettles. Medium bodied with soft to medium carbonation. Interesting to try, but not sure about finishing the whole bottle..

Aroma is hoppy with exotic fruits, some biscuits and hints of gooseberry bush. Flavour is rather hoppy with biscuits, citron, some fruits and gooseberry bush. A mouthdrying and a bit unpleasant finish with even more hops that linger in mouth forever. A bit thin palate, feels like many other beers high on hops and low on ABV. But this is higher. Interesting, but I find it hard to find any use for this.

Bottle, Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Hazy amber pour with a medium off white head. Grassy hops ahoy in the nose. Some nice fruit present too in the aroma and flavour with citrus, kiwi and gooseberry springing to mind. The huge mouth coating, lingering bitterness is what dominates and defines this beer though. Really rather good (mate)

Bottle. Pours with a lightly hazed orange to light amber hue with a huge, lightly off-white head with great lace. Aromas are of resin, vegital matter, tangerine, hoppy, pine, sap, soap, lightly spice. Pretty much all hops. Light bready malt sweetness. Flavors are very, very bitter, astringent, soap, not pleasant. Better than BA 1000 IBU, but not particularly enjoyable. Lots of resin, big cohumulone punch. Unpleasant (squared). Light pineapple, minimal malt. Some apple like esters. Medium bubbles, raw, astringent, not drinkable (11.2oz was a challenge).

33 cl. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft // (a) dark hue of amber / orange with an off-white head // (s) harsh, harsh pine & pine resin hops, close to medicinal, yeah // (t) malts (?), pure bitter pine resin, harsh, harsh dude, bitter floral hops, bitter, bitter grapefruit juice somewhere in there, green hops, maybe some very bitter tangerine & mandarin peel, its like bitter american hops but without any of their fruitiness or stuff you can get in, hop juice, green hops, the bitterness lingers on, fascinating, weird, getting quite close to unpleasant // (b) very, very hop fuzzy, this does the trick, regular 1000 IBU’s was still balanced, I feel than people complained that it wasn’t a real 1000 IBU experience because of the malts & stuff, this is the real deal, harsh, ridiculous, bordering on unpleasant, you get exactly what you asked for, it gives its full money’s worth, very interesting & worthwhile experience // re–di–cu –lous // tried it again on draft @ Delirum Hoppy Loft // still re-di-cu-lous

Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Pine aroma. Pine and earthy flavor with green hops. Medium bodied. Huge bitterness. Pine and grapefruit lingers with green hops. Hops last forever.
