This beer features 7 premium hop varieties and a Belgian yeast strain. From the right to wear monk robes with stars and stripes, shamelessly eat greasy cheeseburgers and unrestricted use of the selfie stick, this beer represents the freedom to explore America.

Hazy gold beer, thin cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, fine crispness. Sweetish pale malts lead to a sharpish lemony intro of the citric hops. Juicy mango and pineapple ensue. Mild hop spice. A little yeasty seltzer spritz. Light finish. Nice combo of lemon, tropical fruits and seltzer.

Gylden brun klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter trevirke, noe røde bær, urter og noe pepperig. Middels fylde. Middels pluss i bitterhet. Lett fruktighet i bakgrunnen. Lang.

Bottle, drunk 7/24/16.
Deep apricot-copper body is topped by a large, fairly well-retained, white head. High clarity.
Heavily fruity nose shows apricots, nectarines, lots of peach and a good amount of honey-to-moderate-caramel malt character behind it. Rather messy ester/phenol profile from the yeast, or maybe just very Americanized-Belgian. A bit of dry booziness, as well. The hops are pretty nicely done, without too much resin, though there is some sour-ish pineapple and various twang.
Big, expansive carbonation spreads sweet maltiness all over the palate as heavily fruity hops meld with slightly hot alcohol and sharp esters. Gets both bready from the malt and overly bitter from the hop acids, on the finish, with too much maltiness lingering. Rather brutish, as Clown Shoes big beers seem apt to be.

Bottle pour into tulip glass from One Stop Market. Aroma is strong Belgian yeast with mild fruity esters, mixed with hoppy floral/fruitiness, herbs and spicy wheat. Appearance is cloudy orange-yellow with decent sparkle at the edges of the glass, 2 finger-width foamy white head with good retention and fair lacing. Taste is herbs, sweet fruit, spicy wheat, and hop bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with foamy texture, average carbonation and nice spicy, lightly bitter finish. Overall, I love how Clown Shoes does these Belgian Style IPA’s! I don’t like this quite as well as Tramp Stamp but like it plenty.

355ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours amber with a light haze and small white head. Aroma is bright tangerine, zesty citrus and sweet Belgian yeast. Taste continues with a nice bright orangey hop character, backed by good Belgian yeast. Taste belies its strength, extremely drinkable and flavoursome.
