Bottled. Black colour with a small brown head. Aroma is roast, some ripe fruits, dark dry fruits, chocolate, wood and some mild vanilla. Flavour is very similar to the elements in the aroma, but also has some alcohol and mild rum sweetness to it.

Bottle, 12.0% as 1423 Rum Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout 2016. Peaty aroma, hint of burnt plastic, malt syrup, some alcohol warmth. Black colour. Looks oily. Very small light brown head. The flavour is quite sweet with vinous notes and vanilla. Late sweet liquorice aftertaste. Vinous rum notes with hints of peat. Some alcohol bitterness, but also good, warm alcohol notes.

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, foamy, brown head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with espresso, sweet liquorice, caramel, wood and rum. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black coffee, liquorice, caramel, tar, wood, rum, prunes, cacao, cinnamon and a balanced roasty bitterness in a vinous finish with a warming rum touch. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Hardly shy and smooth, but quite tasty with lots of liquorice and a good splash of rum. Very nice.

1/12/2018. Bottle from Nisse666 (cheers Thomas!) and shared at the 1st Kesgrave 50/50 bottle share. Pours black with a tan coloured head. Aroma of wood, chocolate, roasted malt and rum. Medium sweetness and medium plus roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Rich, warming alcohol finish.
0,3 litre Bottle from Systembolaget Charlottenberg. Almost Black with little head. Rum, raisins, plums and alcohol.

bottle label not entirely as pictured. 12% alc. "rum barrel aged" *"russian imperial stout" "2016" pitch dark, small brown head. aroma of roasted malts, faint glue, wood, rum, alc. a little sweetness. not that hard roasted. flavor is rum, roasted malts, caramel, wood. palate is somewhat light. beer is not that sweet, but do have quite a lot of flavor from the booze. short boozy aftertaste.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Black with a small head. Aroma of rum, chocolate, dried fruit and some oak. Similar taste. On the sweet side and with a fairly soft mouthfeel.
