Opaque black - brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth and airy. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth airy dark malt, trace of cream. Nice amounts of the requisite dark chocolate and coffee. Little dry wood and very mild spice. Semi dry finish with a chocolate and coffee linger. Does what is says on the tin. Smooth and drinkable.

Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 Sunday tasting at Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell. Pours oily black-brown with a creamy tan head. The nose holds rich chocolate and vanilla pods. Medium sweet with character of chocolate, dirt, earthy bitterness and coffee grounds. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes sweet with further coffee notes, roast, alcohol and burnt wood. Very decent.

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 10/08/2014 Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell. Aroma is rich dark chocolate, coffee, smooth roast and some veg pepper. Nice praline and vanilla on the nose as well. Dark caramel coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Flavour is composed of nutty choc, praline malts, soft roast and nice touch of berry fruit in the finish. Palate is full and smooth. Tasty beer.

Bottle@Craft Clerkenwell (RBESG 10/08/2014) - black coloured pour with tan head. Roasted malty aroma and taste, lots of chocolate, caramel, treacle, coffee, dark fruits, wooden oak infused bourbon nuances on the palate. Lovely drop.
