Bottle shared at the Cotteridge convention, 24/01/2015. Thanks to the Osprey. Aroima is plasticy phenols, medicinal tcp. Clouded dark caramel coloured pour with a lasting thin tan head. Flavour is dirty earthy, wood, mineral, charrd wood. Weird beer.

Bottle shared, thanks to Olliejobbins for the trade. Almost black with light beige head. Extremely peated, light coffee, iodine, really pure and strong iodine, some malts and massive roasted coffee. Red Porto wine, old pillow cases (?), farm animals. Taste is light bitter peat. Medium bodied. Ok, this is one extreme peaty punch in the mouth but still not bad. Extremely earthy.

Bottle shared thanks to Maakun. Pours cloudy brown with a tan head. Aroma of massive peat overwhelming everything else, but with a touch of caramel, toffee and malt behind. Flavour is over moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Pours deep amber with a creamy tan head. Massive peat and TCP on this one, with secondary notes of ham and plastic. Full bodied with fine carbonation and chewy texture. Hot finish with lasting impressions of plastic and peat. A bit rough overall.

Almost opaque amber - brown beer, small pale cream colour head. Big TCP on the nose. Palate is airy and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Mild dry malts with mild sweetness. A good deal of band aid and TCP. Dry malt cream and mild spice before a dry finish. Pretty much all TCP. Meh!

Bottle split at the Cotteridge Bash, 24/01/15 thanks to Herr_Osprey. Mahogany brown with a light beige cap. Nose is TCP, woodwork class, medicinal vibeage, over peated. Taste settles down a little, more TCP medicana, hints of biscuit and toffee. Medium + body, strange prickly carbonation for a BW - overcooked, semi drying close. Miss but not a total car crash.

Bottle at the Cotteridge Convention thanks to Mr Osprey. It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The nose is smooth, roasty, medicinal action, Iodine and burnt toffee....yep that’s some Islay action! The taste is bitter roast, earthy, ash, TCP, medicinal, smoked peat, burnt caramel, dark fruits, wood, vanilla and toasted marshmallow. Medium+ body and moderate carbonation. The massive Ardbeg character is going to get a lot of hates for this, but I rather enjoyed it. Crazy.
