A traditional ale as enjoyed in the beer gardens of
Constantinople during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Premium floor malted barley ensures a rich body
balanced by just the right amount of bitterness.
Goldings, cascade. summit and amarillo hops
ensure not only abundant bitterness, but citrus
aroma, spicy notes and lingering grapefruit flavours.

A golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, light biscuit malt with lightly piney floral hops, rather British, light cheesey notes. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy floral hops, light infection noted, so-so. On tap at brewery.

Draught. Clear light amber with large spongy beige head, faint hops aroma, low carbonation, floral hops flavored somewhat weak beer, abrupt finish. They should be more generous with the hops... In fact this tastes more like a bitter than an IPA.

Golden orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus, light biscuit malts. Full bodied IPA. Straight forward IPA, which I can definitely appreciate. This is not trying to be a funky fresh IPA, just a solid, well brewed beer with classic IPA notes. Soft bitterness that lingers through the finish. Highly enjoyable and well brewed.

Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is light amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, flowers, pine, notes of citrus, malt and hops. A bit on the malty side for an IPA, but this is a UK style IPA so that is to be expected.
