HALIÇ GOLD In celebration of the place, which for centuries was the cosmopolitan heart of the city’s trade, we have created Haliç Gold, a strong golden ale rich in malt and spice flavours. In the style of a Belgian Blond ale, Haliç Gold marries the best European malts with local spices to create a beer worthy of the name. German, Belgium and English malts contribute to a rich mouth feel, whilst Slovenian and German hops bring clean floral aromas. Local spices ensure an oriental overtone.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, grassy malt with herbaceous hops, light off, homebrew notes. In mouth, a sweet fruity caramel malt with light herbaceous hops, light infection, so-so. On tap at brewery.

Draught at Bosphorus Brewpub. Slightly hazy orange-yellow color with large creamy beige head that dissipated rather quickly, floral hops aroma, low carbonation, rather flat, sweetish taste, lo longish finish with malt aftertaste. Started well but ended rather disappointingly.

Golden amber with a white head. Very much has that "home-brew" aroma and I really couldn’t get much past that. Light yeast, spice, and clove in the flavor, but the amateur feel of this beer really killed any enjoyment there was to have.
