Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is roasted, meaty, massive peat smoke, taste is dry, smoky peat, light whisky, light chocolate.

Schenkt zwart met bruine kraag, aroma vanmmouten, chocolade en turfachtige whisky. Smaken zijn redelijk zoet, licht bitter, matig qua sterkte, metig gemout (geroosterde enngebrande mouten), zacht, merk overigens niet heel veel van demport charlotte whisky, medium Body, glad en romig, lage co2. Beperkte whisky aanvulling, had voor mij niet gehoeven.... Zowel het basis bier alsmede de add-on.

330 ml bottle. Pours black with a short tan head of big bubbles. Aromas of peat, dark chocoloate, and wet roasted malts. Flavors of smoky peat, licorice, and black coffee. Slick and oily. Dry finish. Very nice.

Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, 2015. Pours black with a creamy beige head. Roast and peat. Band aid and coffee. Warming and alcoholic.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, wood, malt, whisky, fruits and hops.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, peat and whisky. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 290815

Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Das Bier ist schwarz und hat eine geringe bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv holzig, viel Kaffee, alkoholisch. Geschmack nach viel Kaffee, alkoholisch, röstmalzig bitter, sehr holzig.

Wenig karbonisierter, malzig vanilliger Beginn mit leichtem Alkoohltouch. Rundes, süßlich holziges Malz, etwas herb. Das Malz steigt an, wird aber trocken, gleichzeitig deutlich trocken. Insgesamt nett aber nicht komplett rund. 11/10/8/10/11/11
