MMmmmm, baby, baby - can’t get enough of your beer babe. Luxuriant. Poured with fine creamy, light tan head and good lace. Color is cured cherry wood. Aroma is vanilla, sweet cherries, malt, caramel, and brandy. Flavor is sweet, a hint of roastiness, Texture is velvety with fine carbonation. Some alcohol in the finish which is fairly long and sweet with a tinge of bitterness at the very end. Not a session although an excellent beer.

This one had probably stayed to long in my basement Very solid caramel/toffee flavor. Also some dried fruit and mild oak I am very glad that the bourbon profile was gentle and very mild It uses to destroy good things Pleasant and tasty evening sipper [Bottle from Systembolaget in Sweden]

On tap at Lambic Tap Room, stated as 11,1%. A dark and thick maroon pour with a long-lasting tan head. Aroma is intense: hibiscus (very pleasant), strawberry, strawberry-tree fruits, coffee. Sweetish and full-bodied, crisp and very bitter. Long-lingering, sweet finish.

Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde. Bottled: 22/10/2018. Hazy dark brown, small, foamy, tan head. Aroma of pear syrup, date paste, candied fig, toffee, wet wood, bourbon, marmalade, ripe plum. Taste has very sweet date, plum & raisin soaked in rum, stewed pear somewhere, very thick toffee & molasses maltiness; bit toasty, herbal too for the slightest balance. Woody, heavy caramelly finish, sugar-coated dried fruits and accent of tobacco leaves induced by subtle herbal hops before heating bourbon alcohol tops it all off. Full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation. The ultimate sipper; sweetness prevails but that's the point, of course...
