Bottle split at L6, thanks to Tipple, 25/07/18. Rich mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is tangy dark fruits, pissy notes, sharp berry skins, damp wood, funky. Taste comprises dirty fruit scrapings, light spice, red berry balsams, earthy, oak, light brett, barnyard esters. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a tangy fruit rinse. Decent dark sour.

Bottle at DS. It pours deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy roast, toasty, tangy, lactic, berry skin, cherry skin, strawberry & balsamic vinegar, vanilla, damp leaves and oak. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, lactic, tangy, berry skin, wood, sherbet, leather, sour candy, berry, strawberry, umami and wet wood. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite good fun.

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Tips. Light haze on this amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Tangy ripe strawberry and then some fairly tart ripe fruits. Mild ripe lemon peel on the back end. Not bad, quite amusing..

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Tips. Pours clear caramel with minimal head. Odd nose, some yeast, manure, dirty feet, aged berries. Light sweetness, fairly dry, some old rotten wood, mild funk, leathery berries. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Tart finish, quite dry, more old wood, berries, sweat, funk. Interesting.

Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head that's soon less than a coat. Aroma is gentle but enveloping with hedgerow berries, milk chocolate, singed grains. Slippery, low carbonation. Fruity with gentle berries, toasted grain, milk chocolate. Really quite dry at the end with moderate but insistent acidity. A tiny acetic edge to it. Still has a softness even then. Really lovely.
